Library

The community library is a giant step toward fighting ignorance and poverty in Dagoretti District.

  • Our library is free for use by all in society and is ran by a qualified librarian.
  • The DSEC library stocks a limited variety of books ranging from Medicine, Philosophy, religion, literature, autobiographies, children’s books and novels among others.
  • The library provides a conducive environment for those wishing to study.
  • There is the Junior and the senior library
  • The Junior library also runs other activities for children below 14 years such as-:
  • book club
  • poetry
  • drama club
  • story telling
  • group interactive sessions
  • Little hands big steps program for parents with children between the age of 0 months-2 years
  • The junior library has been stocked with books primarily from donations
  • The Senior Library has books stocked from donations from children International, Rotary club, well-wisher within the community and some purchased by DSEC.
