The community library is a giant step toward fighting ignorance and poverty in Dagoretti District.
- Our library is free for use by all in society and is ran by a qualified librarian.
- The DSEC library stocks a limited variety of books ranging from Medicine, Philosophy, religion, literature, autobiographies, children’s books and novels among others.
- The library provides a conducive environment for those wishing to study.
- There is the Junior and the senior library
- The Junior library also runs other activities for children below 14 years such as-:
- book club
- poetry
- drama club
- story telling
- group interactive sessions
- Little hands big steps program for parents with children between the age of 0 months-2 years
- The junior library has been stocked with books primarily from donations
- The Senior Library has books stocked from donations from children International, Rotary club, well-wisher within the community and some purchased by DSEC.
